To serve the common needs of its
districts and groups and to facilitate unification and communication...
Geographics:
The Arizona geographical definition is defined as the entire
state of Arizona, including Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff.
The
Arizona Area
resides within the SW Region of Cocaine Anonymous. Areas
that comprise the Region are:
*Arizona *Colorado
*Kansas
*New Mexico
*Oklahoma
*South Central Texas
*Texas
General Stats:
*The Arizona Area
is currently comprised of two official Districts:
1.) Sun Valley Intergroup (Phoenix)
2.) Tucson District of CA

*Arizona was first
represented at the World Service Conference in 1986 and
has hosted two World Service Conventions: 1990
& 2000...

Meeting Times &
Places:
Six times per year
alternating between sites in Phoenix and Tucson...
Voting Members:
The following positions
have one vote per person at times of voting: Area Officers (With the
exception of the Chair), Area Committee Chairs, District Service
Representatives, District Board Members, District Committee Chairs,
Group Service Representatives, and World Service Conference Delegates.
The number of voting members shall be established by a quorum at the
beginning of every meeting.
Area Officers:
All Area Officers must
meet the requirements for that position in which they are nominated. All
Area Service Officers shall be voted into office by a majority
vote as established by a quorum at the time of elections. The
Chairperson and Vice Chairperson shall be elected from different
districts.
